RJD chief and former Bihar Chief Minister Lalu Prasad Yadav is in critical condition. Lalu Prasad is serving a jail term and has already been undergoing treatment at a reputed hospital in Ranchi for some time.
Health has deteriorated further over the past three days due to an infection in his lungs.
According to jail authorities, Tejaswi Yadav, Tej Pratap Yadav, and Rabridevi reached Ranchi on Friday night and visited him.
On this occasion, Tejaswi Yadav asked Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren to provide better health to his father. He was shifted to AIIMS in Delhi on Saturday on the instructions of doctors.
Fans along with Lalu’s family members are deeply concerned over his health condition. Meanwhile, a petition filed by his lawyers in the Patna High Court seeking immediate bail for Lalu due to ill health is pending.
