Due to the outbreak of Corona virus, there is a huge shortage of hand wash liquid and sanitizers. In the cities almost all the supermarkets are out of stock and imagine the case of rural places. In order to provide people in these places, YSRCP MLA and chief whip Chevireddy Bhaskar Reddy has stocked up ‘Jagananna’ sanitizers to distribute to people of his constituency.
About 3.45 Lakh sanitizers have been readied and from tomorrow they will be distributed across 1600 villages in his constituency. Speaking on this Chevireddy said, “It’s the call given by our CM Jagan to do individual contribution, I have ordered lakhs of sanitizers. There are lakhs of people in rural places and they will be given at free of cost from tomorrow till 31st of March.” Apart from this we have kept about 70,000 sanitizers in stock in any emergency case, added Chevireddy.
This is a commendable work by the YSRCP MLA. Generally we see politicians distributing liquors and currency notes during elections. After the polls, very rarely leaders payback to the people. Doing at the right time matters a lot and Chevireddy’s gesture should be appreciated here.
