YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has reportedly called off his visit to Kadapa district on Sunday, as the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) has confirmed his appointment with Narendra Modi. Right after winning the elections, Jagan sought for Modi’s appointment. The PMO officials took their time to confirm the appointment and he was asked to come down to New Delhi on Sunday.

As the PMO officials were late in finalising the appointment, Jagan thought of visiting Kadapa district on Sunday and it would be his first after the super victory in polls. On Friday night, Jagan received a message from PMO and so he had no other option than to cancel his Kadapa visit.

After the New Delhi visit, Jagan is likely to go directly to Kadapa. Jagan will reach Idupulapaya and offer special prayers at his father YSR’s memorial. The YSRCP chief is expected to get a grand welcome from the people.
