Enjoying a star status in Tollywood, heroine Rakul Preet Singh wanted to search for more greener pasture in Hindi arena as she ahs set Telugu films aside for the same. It looks like this move is costing her much though she is bagging film after film in Bollywood.

Though Rakul has bagged a big film where she is paired with Arjun Kapoor, her track record is not getting meritorious. While De De Pyaar De worked for her at Bollywood box office, another hit film would have helped her cement her position there. And she sizzled in a small yet glamorous role in last Friday released Marjaavan movie. But then, things haven’t favoured her.

The film has collected 25 crores net from its first three days of run, but then it is not a blockbuster or hit of epic proportions. Also, Rakul’s role hasn’t got any major attention as critics panned her for wooden looks and expressionless acting. That way she hasn’t resurrected herself to a star status post this film’s release.

On the other hand, after the flop show of Manmadhudu 2 in Telugu, no big star has signed Rakul in Telugu while has Nithin and Chandrasekhar Yeleti’s movie in hand though.
