Majority of the criticism directed towards the initial part of the biopic of NTR was because of the extensive glorification (bhajana) of the late legendary actor.The trailer of the conclusion of NTR – Mahanayakudu seems no different with some over the top elevations of NTR, the leader.

A scene from the trailer shows the then Prime Minister Indira Gandhi folding hands with respect by looking at a cut out of NTR mistaking him to be Lord Krishna.Such scenes in NTR – Kathanayakudu were heavily ridiculed and eventually led to the disastrous performance of the film.

That didn’t stop the makers of NTR to keep the above scene in the trailer of Mahanayukudu.Balakrishna’s makeover and look are impressive, but that is not exciting anymore as we have been seeing it from a long time.

Looks like the focus is mostly upon the so-called backstabbing of Nadendla Bhaskara Rao.The infamous backstabbing of Chandra Babu Naidu has been conveniently kept aside for obvious reasons.

The trailer of the sequel to a disastrous film needs to be highly impressive, but NTR Mahanayakudu trailer is mediocre with unexciting shots and unnecessary elevations.With the film just a week away from hitting the marquee, Team NTR needs to look for ways to build the buzz for the film as the trailer turns out to be a damp squib.
