All hell broke loose with director Puri Jagan commenting that time and again Mahesh Babu’s fans ask him about reviving the project Jana Gana Mana, but the superstar actor will work with him only if he is delivering super hits.

As the director said that, fans immediately started trolling on Twitter, by asking when did Mahesh chose him for Pokiri and Businessman. They say that Mahesh did Pokiri after Puri delivered a super dud like Andhrawala. And after the director’s Nenu Rakshasi ended up as a disaster, Mahesh did Businessman with him. Well, the fans have a logic.

But at the same time, we can’t expect a director of Puri’s stature commenting without any real intent behind it. Even though Puri Jagan scored flops then, his energy was different at that time. And even if Puri scored a big commercial hit with Ismart Shankar, his energies are different now. This is time linked stuff and surely Mahesh might have rejected to work with him on that basis. So Puri’s logic is also right.

All said and done, Puri needs to deliver something better because his heroes, dialogues and drama are often becoming redundant in recent times.
