Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) chairman K Sivan, after 95% success of Chandrayaan 2’s Vikram Lander became overnight famous for his simplicity and sedulous efforts. He is now no less than a celebrity, grabbing a special place in everyone’s heart. The latest viral video shows Dr.Sivan in a flight, getting a warm welcome from all passengers and crew members. The 90-second clip shows Sivan in an Indigo flight and cabin crew members greeting and taking selfies with him. Sivan turned back and also waved a hand to all passengers who clapped and cheered for him

It is amazing that Sivan was recognised by everyone today and only after Abdul Kalam did we witness such a great honour for a scientist. He received huge applause while he was reaching for his seat, and even at such high stature, Sivan looks so down to earth, thanking everyone with a big smile.
