The second part of Pushpa has finally arrived at the box office and it has started on record, breaking note with a mighty ₹294 crores gross reported on its opening day as claimed by the makers. This record breaking number has been made possible due to the high ticket prices and strong advance booking trends that were in effect for the film.
However, there is a catch here as Pushpa 2 Has created an unnecessary panicking situation for the entire film industry. This is in relation to the heartbreaking incident that happened at the Sandhya theatre during the paid premier screening of the film, where a Lady tragically died in a stampede.
In view of this tragic incident, the government of Telangana and the cinematography minister, Komatireddy Venkat Reddy have made a big announcement.
The Telangana government has ordered that there will be no more paid premier or special benefit shows culture in Telangana henceforth. Cinematography Minister Venkat Reddy announced in front of the media today that the government has decided not to permit any benefit shows ahead of a film release. While Pushpa has already benefited from the benefit shows, we have one major film that could fall prey to this situation now. The film in question is Ram Charan’s Game Changer. This film is up for release on January 10, and the producer Dil Raju is preparing the theatrical deals for the same.
However, in a major shocker to those involved with this Ram Charan film, the government of Telangana has decided to call of the benefit shows culture in the state henceforth.
Dil Raju would have been hoping to have special benefit shows for the film and make some money from. It, considering the kind of massive investments he made on this project. But sadly, for him, the government of Telangana appears to have made up its main against benefit shows.
In the end, the move that proved to be extremely beneficial for Allu Arjun has turned out to be detrimental for Ram Charan.
