A few days ago, there were speculations that Megastar Chiranjeevi is eager to lock Diwali release for his upcoming outing, Acharya. The makers are intending to lock 4th November as the release date for the Chiranjeevi and Ram Charan starrer.
The latest news is that Ravi Teja too is aiming for Diwali release for his immediate next theatrical outing, Khiladi.
Apparently, Ravi Teja has asked the makers of Khiladi to announce that the film will be arriving this Diwali season. This move is to make sure that Khiladi has a solid release plan and can enjoy solo release in case no other Telugu film seals Diwali release.
As of now, Varun Tej’s Ghani and Rajnithanth’s Annaatthe are lined up for Diwali release.
The makers of Acharya and Khiladi are keeping their options open for now. Diwali release is their prime choice but it is subject to change based on the situation at that point in time.
