Bollywood has produced two biopics on Indian cricketers till now. While one is on the life story of Sachin Tendulkar, the other is on MS Dhoni’s. Now, Bollywood is set to roll out another biopic.

Apparently, a biopic on team India former captain Sourav Ganguly is in discussion stage now. Bollywood superstar Ranbir Kapoor is reportedly in pole position to play Ganguly on screen.

Ganguly is one of the most influential cricketers of the generation and his life story has more than enough drama and intrigue to make for a cinematic narrative. We might be witnessing his story on the big screens very soon.

A capable performer like Ranbir Kapoor playing Ganguly on screen sure looks interesting. More details about the project will be out soon.

Incidentally, Ranbir Kapoor came up with a stunning performance in the Sanju, the biopic of Sanjay Dutt. He might be back in action again for the biopic of Sourav Ganguly.
