Celebrities need security personnel besides them when they make public appearances to keep them safe. As it’s a big responsibility, the work requires a huge amount as payment for the security personnel of the celebrities. Usually, the bodyguards will have a long association with the stars they work with.

Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma has the same bodyguard, who has been with her since the initial days of her career. His name is Prakash Singh, but he is popular by the name Sonu. It is said that he gets a fat cheque from Anushka for his work.

A leading Bollywood portal has claimed that, Sonu will be receiving Rs 1.2 crore as salary per year. The amount is quite big that even the heads of the big companies won’t draw such a big amount as salary.

Sonu is always treated as a family member by the Bollywood actress and Anushka Sharma celebrates Sonu’s birthday every year. The bodybuilder guarded her safely during her pregnancy too.

It is also said that, Sonu takes care of Anushka Sharma’s husband, Virat Kohli, despite him having a dedicated bodyguard. On a few occasions, Sonu can be seen with the Indian National team skipper, Virat Kohli.

Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma welcomed their first child, Vamika in 2021. The bundle of joy is six-months old now.

Anushka Sharma’s last outing was Shah Rukh Khan starrer Zero that was released in 2018.It is said that, she will make a comeback into films with a sports drama, a biopic on Indian speedster Jhulan Goswami.
