Actress-turned-politician Roja is back in news for wrong reasons. A SC/ST atrocity case has been slapped against Roja for her alleged “offensive” remarks against a certain section of community. One Ramesh, believed to be a TDP supporter, lodged a complaint with the police that the MLA “belittled” a section of people.
Roja was recently present at “Nagiri Jatara” (a local festival) few days ago following a scuffle with TDP activists at the do, Roja reportedly used “profane words” referring to a particular section. Even few TV channels have aired the visuals and “muted”/”beeped” Roja’s alleged remarks. With this, few TDP workers lodged complaint against Roja and her 13 supporters over her remarks. After examining the visuals, cops have booked a SC/ST atrocity case. Since Roja belong to O.C (Reddy community), her remarks are expected to land her in trouble.
