Bhatkal’s bomb making lab in Goa beach

The National Investigation Agency recovered bomb-making equipment from a house near a beach at Anjuna village in the Goa state, where Yasin Bhatkal, the alleged co-founder of banned terror group Indian Mujahideen, had lived in 2011-12.

NIA, during the search of the house, found bomb-making equipment. The owner of the house which Bhatkal and his associates had rented said hat some acid bottles and other things were recovered by the NIA there.

Bhatkal had lived in a rented house in Anjuna from November 2011 to February 2012 with two others. The acid bottle was there right from the time when Bhatkal and his associates left the house without giving us any notice. Some equipment used to make bombs also recovered from the place.

Bhatkal was main accused in the Dilsukhnagar blasts in the city which claimed over 15 lives and 100 injured five months ago.
