Despite knowing that Balakrishna is one of the top TDP leaders who is charismatic and fearless and could take-on rival Mr. Jagan Mohan Reddy head on, but Mr. Naidu is reluctant to play ball. After lying low for almost two decades, Balakrishna has expressed his willinness to lead party and if elected, wants to rule newly-formed Seemandhra region as CM, but Mr. Naidu is reluctant to sacrifice the coveted post.
Even after being CM for two times, TDP supremo, is in mood to hand over the party to the next generation. Last few weeks, directly or indirectly, Nandamuri star has hinted his willingness to contest and consolidate the TDP vote bank since he can counter Jagan’s popularity in 58-seats of Rayalaseema and majority of 120-odd seats in seemandhra, since Balayya has more 3000-fan clubs spread across the region, who would take-on Jagan supporters at grass roots level and make it difficult for YSR’s son.
But Mr.Naidu is betting his money on a wrong horse (his son Mr. Lokesh who is non-charismatic) against dare-devil leader Jagan and ploy could boomerang. If anyone, who can stop Jagan’s juggernaut, its only Balakrishna, feels Nandamuri fans, what you say folks?
