Owing to the cuts by the regional Censor Board, the makers of Vangaveeti were in tight spot. The last two days were hectic as they had to make a lot of changes in the film as per the directions from the Censor Board members.
Since the movie is a story of slain Kapu leader Vangaveeti Mohana Ranga who was killed by his arch rivals. Censor took special note in order to avoid any untoward incidents that may arise considering it’s sensitive topic.
A few changes were made in the dialogues of actors in Vangaveeti. And this in turn hit hard. Due to this, the crew worked hard day and night to cover up and also make sure the changes won’t affect the quality and content of the film.
As the film is all set for release on Dec 23rd, and copies have to be sent to US, Dubai and elsewhere via flight, the crew of Vangaveeti worked round the clock.
It’s learnt that the changes, post-production works have finally been wrapped up at around 3 AM on Dec 20 giving a huge sigh of relief.
The film happens to be Varma’s last film in Telugu. Hence special care is being taken by his team to ensure it’d be a good bid adieu.
