Nothing seems to be working for Bommarillu Bhaskar since the past few years. After making a grand entry with ‘Bommarillu’ and living up to his reputation with ‘Parugu’, He lost the track attempting a complex storyline (Orange) which even went over-budget and plans to bounce back with mass entertainer (Ongole Githa) too back fired.
Finally, Our Sensible Filmmaker choose to rely on a remake this time instead of own creativity for a strong comeback. Bhaskar has been roped to direct the Telugu remake of Malayalam hit ‘Bangalore Days’. Producer PVP has acquired the rights of this feel-good entertainer and pre-production work is going on.
Although he is capable of delivering a hit with his own scripts, Bhaskar is currently lacking in confidence and he needs a safe project like ‘Bangalore Days’ to bounce back. Seems like a right choice and the right time! What do you say guys?
