Eenadu is one of the oldest news papers in the Telugu States. The owners even own media houses that run television channels and news channels.

Mohammad Ali, Home Minister of Telangana took to the media to express how painful they feel on one of the articles covered by Eenadu.

It was mentioned that Police force is friends with thieves and also whoever is good with the government officials, they get good postings.

Even the Cyberabad Police Commissioner VC Sajjanar was quite upset on the matter. He requested that if at all anybody ever hears anything about Police involvement, they must first try and listen to the Police side of the story as well before getting to any conclusions.

He said that his team and all in the Telangana Police Force are doing their best to keep the State safe and in order. It feels hurtful to read such stories on us, adds Sajjanar.

Mohammad Ali said that if Eenadu Editor does not give an explanation on this and apologize, he would go ahead and sue the Newspaper for about ₹1,000 crores.

The backbone of Telangana State is the Police Force and we will not tolerate to demoralise their confidence and loyalties, warned Ali requesting all to understand that there is a special squad to monitor transfers and politicians do not do it.
