While the two daughters Shivani and Shivatmika recovered, Rajasekhar and his wife Jeevitha had to be admitted to a private hospital in Hyderabad. On Tuesday, the hospital authorities released a health bulletin stating that the actor is responding well to the treatment and is being monitored closely by a team of doctors. The hospital has been updating fans every day about the actor’s health to prevent the spread of fake news.
The latest statement by the authorities reads, “Sri. Dr V Rajasekhar, admitted at a hospital in Hyderabad for severe Covid-19, is currently being weaned off non-invasive ventilator support in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). He received plasma therapy and CYTOSORB device therapy as a part of his ongoing treatment. His clinical condition is better. He is responding to treatment and continues to be closely monitored by our clinical team.”
On October 17 when the news broke that Rajasekhar was admitted to the hospital, rumours started doing the rounds online about his health condition. To put a stop to it, his daughter urged everyone to pray for a speedy recovery for her father and not to believe the rumours online. While his friend Megastar Chiranjeevi wished for a speedy recovery, fans are also praying for the actor to get better soon.
