According to United Nations, India will emerge as a Most Populous Country overtaking China in just eight years.Nine Nations including India will constitute half of the World’s Population. The other countries expected to show growth are Nigeria, Pakistan, Democratic Republic Of The Congo, Ethiopia, Tanzania, Indonesia, Egypt and USA.
By 2050, World’s Population increases by two billion from 7.7 billion in 2019 to 9.7 billion in 2050. The population of China will fall by 31.4 million (2.2 percent) from 2019 to 2050. Population of sub-Saharan Africa is likely to get doubled by 2050.
Global Fertility Rate will decline from 2.5 births per woman in 2019 to 2.1 births per woman in 2050. Life Expectancy will increase from 72.6 years in 2019 to 77.1 years in 2050.
