The first Home Minister of India Patel played pivotal role in merging of ‘independent’ Hyderabad with Indian Union. “After relentless effort for over a year after Independence, Hyderabad was merged into India and finally it became reality,” shared Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh on Friday in Hyderabad.
Recalling his valuable contribution, Home Minister Rajnath Singh said, “Hyderabad would not be part of India without Patel ji. In fact, India would not be today what it is, without him.” Rajnath Singh has flagged off government’s prestigious event ‘Run for Unity’ and called for people to be “united” whole as Indians.
