Is Balayya Babu unhappy with Chandrababu Naidu and even his son-in-law Lokesh Babu? If not, why did he skip the key party politburo meeting and undertake a visit to his constituency of Hindupur on the same day? This has become a hot topic within the TDP these days.
Balayya Babu is known to speak to very few TDP leaders and these leaders claim that he is upset with Chandrababu Naidu. He is reported to have told them that he was not happy with the formation of the politburo. He is said to have been upset by the exclusion of several key Kamma leaders from the politburo. What is turning out to be more irksome for him is that Chandrababu is trying to convince the aggrieved Kamma leaders that they could not be accommodated because Balayya Babu has to be given a place in the politburo.
He is also said to be upset that the number of politburo members has been increased to 25. Such jumbo sized politburo is not only ineffective, but even the members become insignificant. So, he feels that his membership in the politburo is of no real value. At the same time, he is being blamed for the exclusion of others. So, he decided to show his dissatisfaction by skipping the politburo meet and organise a visit to Hindupur on the same day.
