Speaking to the media, Nadendla said, the program was started by Janasena for a good cause that is to have good roads in the state. We had to fight for the roads as the government is not repairing them, why were obstacles created for the program he asked.
The Shramadanam program started by Janasena aims at fighting for better roads and protesting against the Andhra Pradesh government for not repairing the roads. As per the schedule, the program will kickstart on the 2nd of October. Janasena had called for Shramadanam at the Sir Arthur Cotton Barrage (SACB) in Dowleswaram.
As a big blow to Janasena, the Irrigation department denied permission for the program saying that the bridge will not come under the purview of the Roads & Buildings Department. The officials said, filling the potholes there without proper knowledge might cause damage to the bridge.
The Irrigation SE said that permission for the Shramadanam program cannot be given. To see that people won’t face any issues, the public movement was permitted on the bridge. The program cannot be permitted, the authorities said.
However, the Janasena leaders and cadre made elaborative arrangements for the Shramadanam program. As per the schedule, the bad roads in East Godavari and Anantapur districts would be repaired by the Janasena leaders. Now we have to see how Janasena leaders would deal with the situation now.
Janasena chief Pawan Kalyan is in Andhra Pradesh currently. Janasenani reached Vijayawada to chair the Janasena party meetings. The other day, Pawan Kalyan addressed the party meeting and hit back at YSRCP leaders and the supporters.
Pawan Kalyan warned YSRCP leaders that he too can use cuss words but he is not doing that as he is in politics. He assured that he and Janasena leaders will not talk about family members of YSRCP leaders.
