That Chief Minister KCR has Vastu and numerology fetish is an open secret. Starting from his car number to the date of its registration, KCR goes by numerology. He ensures that any programme or event coincides with his lucky number 6. In fact, the date he announced early polls in 2018 too matched with his lucky number.

Even during the construction of the new secretariat, KCR has given a lot of importance to six. For instance, the new secretariat will have six parks. Similarly, there would be six conference halls in the new building. The same numerological fetish was in full display when the Pragathi Bhavan was constructed.

But in Huzurabad, this lucky number seems to have favoured Eatala not KCR. This today is the talk of social media. The majority that BJP candidate Eatala Rajender secured is 23,865. According to numerologists, the total of 2+3+8+6+5 is 24 and 2+4 is six. KCR’s lucky number, it appears, has proved lucky for Eatala Rajender. Interestingly, Eatala does not have any fetish for fads for numerology and Vastu. He has never made any effort to appear as a believer of these fads.

In another curious coincidence, the counting of votes was done at Karimnagar’s SRR college. It was the same venue where KCR had announced the launch of the TRS 20 years ago. Eatala Rajender was part of the inaugural programme. In fact, KCR’s famous yatra for his ‘fast unto death for Telangana’ too began from the same venue. He was arrested mid-way and taken to Khammam. From there, he went to NIIMS to relaunch his fast. The announcement of a separate state came after this fast.
