Bollywood actor Abhay Deol has ignited a discourse on sexuality with his recent statements, departing from the conventional Western framework of sexual orientation. In a recent interview, Deol expressed his discomfort with rigid labels, asserting that sexuality is a fluid and complex spectrum.

Drawing a contrast between Western and Eastern perspectives, Deol emphasized the latter’s holistic approach to human experience. He argued that Eastern philosophies offer a more nuanced understanding of sexuality, transcending the binary classifications prevalent in Western culture.

Deol’s candid admission of not feeling the need to define his sexuality has sparked both intrigue and controversy. His stance resonates with those who advocate for a more fluid understanding of sexual identity, challenging societal pressures to conform to rigid categories.

The sci-fi epic “Kalki 2898 AD” has solidified its position as a mega-blockbuster, effortlessly surpassing the coveted 1,000 crore mark at the global box office. Even in its third week of release, the film maintains its impressive performance, consistently outdrawing the recently released pan-Indian film “Indian 2.” Audience reception remains overwhelmingly positive, with the grand visuals, Nag Ashwin’s visionary direction, and stellar acting captivating viewers. Notably, “Kalki 2898 AD” has grossed over 275 crores in the Hindi market alone, surpassing the lifetime Hindi collections of “RRR.”

The film’s expansive visual spectacle, fueled by Ashwin’s imaginative vision and the powerful performances of its cast, has left a lasting impression on audiences. The surprise inclusion of scenes depicting the Mahabharata further enhanced the film’s appeal. With no major releases on the horizon, “Kalki 2898 AD” continues its triumphant run at the box office.

As previously announced, the film concludes with a cliffhanger, setting the stage for a sequel. Fans are already buzzing with anticipation for “Kalki 2,” and the makers have begun filming certain portions.

Adding to the intrigue, director Nag Ashwin recently revealed the lighthearted method used to decide on splitting the story into two parts. He showcased a photograph of a chit marked with the number “2,” jokingly stating it as the “scientific and rational method” employed for the decision. This lighthearted anecdote, involving a significant decision worth hundreds of crores, offered a glimpse into Ashwin’s personality.

Produced by Ashwini Dutt for a staggering budget exceeding 600 crores and featuring music by Santosh Narayanan, “Kalki 2898 AD” has only covered roughly 40% of the story, according to Ashwin. The upcoming sequel promises an even greater dose of drama and action.

The confirmation of a second part leaves fans eagerly speculating about the continuation of the narrative. Prabhas reprises his role as Bhairava, while Amitabh Bachchan returns as Ashwatthama. The film also featured Kamal Haasan as the primary antagonist, Supreme Yashkin, and Deepika Padukone as Sumathi.
