The digital classes that began for government schools yesterday, apparently looks successful as it receives a great response from students. Among the total 16,43,309 students from Classes III to X, 14,03,826 (85.42 per cent) students attended the digital classes, which is seemingly a good start in Telangana.
With educational institutions shut with the worsening pandemic situation, the State government initiated e-learning classes to students of the government schools.
Education Minister P Sabitha Indra Reddy said that the digital classes has received great response from students and proved to be a welcome move. As per the school education reports, a total of 10,72,851 students witnessed online classes on Doordarshan and T-SAT satellite channels.
A sum total of 1,91,768 students got access to the new computerized learning through cell phones/workstations/work areas, while 78,696 accessed through GP/library/different modes and 60,515 connected for advanced classes through various modes.
Reportedly, the T-SAT App garnered 11,73,921 views on a single day and 1,56,658 subscriptions. Around 1,42,979 students opted for the worksheets facilitated by the education department.
