The other day we have reported that the culprit behind the leaking of ‘Baahubali 2’ war scenes was arrested by police in Vijayawada. Reportedly, police found the videos of Nagarjuna Akkineni’s upcoming devotional drama ‘Om Namo Venkatesaya’ in his laptop.
Acting quickly on the lead given by Rajamouli, who had identified a man named Krishna, a VFX editor working with Annapurna Studios, Vijayawada police arrested him within hours. Based on the information that he has given, another five people have been taken into custody for circulating the leaked clip of Baahubali 2 on social media.
After confiscating the laptop of Krishna, police were surprised to find the video clips of ‘Om Namo Venkatesaya’ in it. He however said that he didn’t share those videos with anyone. Police said that if he was not caught, he would have leaked the videos of ONV as well in due time.
Interim, Nagarjuna has reportedly got alert after he learnt of this and has deployed high security and CCTV cameras inside the editing room of Annapurna Studios. Its high time makers of high budget films took stringent measures to ensure the security of their products.
