Ahead of making her re-entry into films, the 40-plus actress has also made her entry into social media. She opened a page for her on Instagram. As her first post, she shared a picture from her upcoming film.

The National Award-winning actress had taken a break from movies after her marriage with a Dubai engineer. She made her movie debut in Soothradharan, directed by Lohithadas. Her last film was Pathu Kalpanakal. She won the National Film Award for Best Actress in 2004 for her role in Paadam Onnu: Oru Vilapam.
