SS Rajamouli has not just become a top director in India but he also gained a lot of international recognition with his ‘Baahubali’ franchise and last release ‘RRR’. Especially, his gigantic film with NTR and Charan as the lead is making the West go gaga. The movie’s Hindi version got released on Netflix and a lot of foreigners are showering praises on Rajamouli’s work ever since. The movie trended in the Top 10 list in over 60 countries for a very long time. It is the most-watched non-English film on Netflix.

Rajamouli is elated with the recognition ‘RRR’ has been receiving from abroad and gave away some interesting details regarding his future plans while speaking to an English media portal. He said, “After Baahubali, there was certainly pressure on my next film. I am happy that RRR has now transcended boundaries. Now, I want Indian stories to be showcased on the global level. I want to be in the foreground of it and that’s my selfishness.”

Speaking about the scale of his films, he explained, “You make big-event lavish budget films, the risk is more. If the film succeeds, the producers will get good returns, else the losses will be huge. With urbane films, the risk is low as the budget is lesser. But the reach and box office pull will also be lesser.”

This proves that his next project with Mahesh is going to be made on a huge scale and it will get a huge market not just in India but also in foreign countries.
