Interestingly, the film’s team reportedly considered Bollywood stalwart Sunny Deol for the new antagonist’s role. Mythri Movie Makers, who have Sunny Deol starring in their Hindi film Jat, toyed with the idea of casting him as the shadowy figure to bridge Bollywood and Tollywood audiences further. Director Sukumar initially entertained the idea but later decided against it. The uncertainty surrounding Pushpa 3’s storyline and timeline made it impractical to confirm Deol’s casting or reveal the character prematurely.

With no immediate plans or clarity about Pushpa 3, Sukumar and his team have opted to leave the antagonist’s role ambiguous. This decision keeps expectations simmering without overpromising.
