Call it the heights of publicity monger of TRS as the image of party leader KCR has been engraved on the temple pillars. This is not all. The picture of TRS election symbol – Car and government program Harithaharam have been engraved on the pillars at Yadadri Narasimha Swamy temple.

In ancient ages, rulers and kings used to carve their pictures, and their achievements as writings on the monuments they build. But when it comes to temples and religious monuments, there would not be the pictures of rulers as a mark of sacred.

Now the moot question is whether the carvings of KCR, car symbol and Harithaharam were done with the knowledge of KCR or not. While Opposition parties are accusing that KCR was behind this, a section of TRS leaders said it was done by some enthusiastic leaders at lower rung to impress KCR. But the latter argument didn’t get takers as everyone has found fault with the government when it comes to the development of such a historic temple at Yadagiri.

BJP is quick to respond on the issue and express its displeasure over the government’s move. It found fault with the cravings of KCR and his party symbol and his government scheme on temple wall. Stating that temple is holy place, BJP has demanded to remove the carvings immediately. As BJP is aggressively making inroads into Telangana, such glaring mistakes of TRS are coming in handy for BJP to get people’s attention.
