Samantha is back in action again. She has commenced shooting for her forthcoming project today.

Samantha’s bilingual project, directed by filmmaker duo Hari and Harish has hit the floors. The unit commenced regular shooting in Hyderabad today.

The film has been titled ‘Yashoda’ and it is touted to be a thriller. The film will be released in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi languages.

The producer Sivalenka Krishna Prasad said, “Samantha caught the attention of India-wide audience with The Family Man 2. Our film, Yashoda caters to a wide section of the audience.”

It is said that the unit will be wrapping up the entire shoot by March 2022 and the release date will be announced correspondingly.

Mani Sharma will be composing the music for the film and M Sukumar handles the cinematography. Sridevi Movies is bankrolling the project.
