Bollywood Baadshah Shah Rukh Khan is in one more controversy. Few media channels have been airing the news that the actor had undergone sex determination for his third child. Reports say that SRK was expecting a baby boy through surrogacy. An NGO and Indian Radiological and Imaging Association have reportedly brought out this story and claimed that Shah Rukh should be brought under law for this act. The government of Maharastra too responded to this allegation and has ordered for an enquiry. A senior government official said that they had asked the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) to verify reports following a demand for an inquiry by an NGO and Indian Radiological and Imaging Association.
The PCPNDT Act provides for the prohibition of sex selection in the country before or after conception. If an extremely popular actor like Shah Rukh is doing that, it would set a wrong example to all his fans across the country. As part of the investigation, the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) officials have gone to the residence of Shah Rukh but the actor wasn�t at home. And also Shah Rukh�s manager refused to comment on this.
