Samantha has faced multiple flops in recent times like ‘Yashoda’ and ‘Shaakunthalam’. Her ‘Khushi’ too did not deliver as expected and is being termed as a commercial failure. All the hard work she did despite her health issues, have gone in vain. She worked on an action thriller web series under Raj & DK’s direction. This Indian version of ‘Citadel’ has Varun Dhawan as the male lead and Samantha worked quite hard. The release date for this series is unknown. There is a talk that she might be the female lead in Salman Khan’s next movie.
