Suriya, the renowned Tamil actor, is gearing up for a massive promotional tour across North India to garner excitement for his upcoming pan-Indian film, Kanguva. The film, directed by Siva, is set to release on November 14th.
Post Kanguva, Suriya is poised to embark on an extraordinary cinematic journey with comedian-turned-director RJ Balaji. The duo will collaborate on a unique fantasy film, tentatively titled Karuppu. This project, inspired by Balaji’s previous film Mukkutti Amman, will feature Suriya in the role of a deity, a departure from his conventional roles.
Suriya’s unwavering belief in the film’s distinctive concept has driven this collaboration, despite Balaji’s limited experience with star-driven films. The film is set to introduce Rukmini Vasanth and Mrunal Thakur to Tamil cinema.
Following a brief hiatus after Kanguva, Suriya will commence work on Karuppu. Meanwhile, plans for Kanguva Part 2 are also underway. However, updates on his highly anticipated projects with directors Vetrimaaran (Vadivasal) and Sudha Kongara remain temporarily on hold as both the director and actor focus on their current commitments.
