Devi Sri Prasad, who was one of the most sought-after music composers in Tollywood, seems to have lost his sheen. With his recent albums drawing criticism from various corners as he is unable to meet the high expectations on his songs, Devi Sri Prasad is now under immense pressure to deliver.

Even his die-hard fans are disappointed with his recent tracks. Be it the songs of Maharshi or Vinaya Vidheya Rama or the latest Mind Block song from Sarileru Neekevvaru, Devi couldn’t recreate his old magic.

Now, the valid suggestion from various music critics to Devi is that he needs a break from his hectic schedule. Devi has been very busy with composing songs, background score and his music concerts. He hardly takes break from his work. This could be the reason for he not able to meet fans’ expectations.

Since Thaman too just announced that it was the break that made him correct his mistakes and bounce back with a lot of creativity, probably Devi too should go on a long vacation and take time out for himself. And Devi too would bounce back and set new records. For now, Devi has to wrap up the works of Sarileru Neekevvaru and AA20 (Allu Arjun and Sukumar film). Devi’s last blockbuster albums were Ram Charan and Sukumar’s Rangasthalam and Mahesh Babu’s Bharat Ane Nenu.
