According to sources, Sonia Gandhi has decided to give the Visakha seat back to TSR and shift Prandeswari to another constituency.
It is learnt that TSR told Sonia Gandhi that he had earlier represented Visakhapatnam and was denied the seat in 2009 as he was then Rajya Sabha member. He also reminded her how he accepted the High Command direction to contest against Mekapati Rajamohan Reddy, in the by-election to the Nellore Lok Sabha seat and lost money. He explained to her how he has been implementing service activities in Visakhapatnam and developed it as his own constituency. He also claimed that it was due to his efforts that Purandeswari won in 2009.
It is being said that Sonia Gandhi considered all these aspects and assured TSR of the Visakhapatnam seat.
