It is magical-writer Trivikram Srinivas who introduced this style of making a special sequence with comedian Brahmanandam in second half of a movie. Take his past writing works like Manmadhudu, Nuvvu Naaku Nachav and Malliswari, always it is a field day of our iconic comedian post interval. And then, here comes the upgrade.
Taking a cue from movies like Manmadhudu and Malliswari it seems, director Sreenu Vytla too started inducing Brahmi’s comic acts in the second half of a film. Not stopping there, Vytla took Brahmi’s comedy to next level by literally making him a second hero in the movie. From the 2007 release Dubai Seenu, our senior comedian started playing specially designed characters in Vytla’s movies. His antics and histrionics in Ready, King and Dookudu made him another hero inside a star-hero’s movie to devise a pretty decent win at box office.
Undoubtedly Brahmi is an icon much before Trivikram and Vytla carved gala roles for him on silver screen. But still they have given him a second life, say extended career, with their fantastic write ups. That’s the story folks!
