It appears former minister and current MLA Ganta Srinivasa Rao is pretty sure that the TDP is on a comeback trail. Hence, he has suddenly become active and has started mobilising the party workers all over again. After a two-and-a-half year gap, he has suddenly started taking interest in the party affairs.

Recently, he has organised the birthday celebrations of Nara Lokesh. The programme was a lavish affair. A cake was cut with hundreds of party workers attending the programme. He has even greeted Lokesh via social media. He also ensured that the news of the programme reached the TDP headquarters.

Sources say that Ganta has organised the programme with an aim to attract Nara Lokesh’s attention. Sources also say that Ganta knows that Lokesh will play a key role in the next election and would decide the candidates for the 2024 elections.

It’s now clear that Ganta is not going to make any attempt to join the YSRCP. He is now planning to focus on the TDP only and is planning to woo Chandrababu Naidu and Lokesh. Sources say that Ganta is of the opinion that the YSRCP has lost its steam. He feels the YSRCP would face more problems in the coming days. Hence he has turned his attention to the TDP.
