Wi-Fi and 4G in Telangana with Rs 4100 Crores

Telangana government plans to spend Rs.4100 crore on providing wi-fi in Hyderabad and 4g services in the state to attract IT companies from all over the world.

Reliance ADAG group has come forward to provide 4g internet and wi-fi communication services in Telangana state. On a pilot basis in the first phase Hyderabad, six corporations and 37 municipalities and in the second phase other cities, towns and 220 mandals and in third phase rest of Telangana will have 4g services.

Reliance CEO.K. S. Venugopal today called on Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao at secretariat and discussed on provision of 4G, ISP and wi-fi services ‘wi-fi will promote education, medicare and also agriculture services for the people’ said KCR.

Reliance officials said 500 ckms of OFC of the 1700 kms has already been laid and the free w-i fi services will be provided free of cost for six months.
