Ace director Shanker’s prestigious project 2.0, featuring superstar Rajinikanth, Akshay Kumar and Amy Jackson, is all set to release in China on July 12. This multi-lingual film has been released in India on November 29, 2018. Being a sequel to 2010 blockbuster film Enthiran, Akshay Kumar tweeted: “Get ready for the ultimate face-off, 2.0 releasing in China this July 12, 2019!”
The film will have Akshay Kumar as the main villain named Dr Richards and Rajinikanth playing the protagonist. He is said to be a saviour of mankind facing the ornithologist’s wrath. 2.0 mesmerized the Indian audience for its beautiful VFX and computer graphics. For China’s release, the makers have teamed up with HY Media to release the film in 56,000 screens including 47,000 3D screens. AR Rahman also tweeted that the film will have premiere shows on June 28.
This film had many plus points like an interesting storyline and the rich production value, with an extravagant budget of Rs 543 crore. Touted as one of the biggest and the most expensive films in 2018, this film is now getting ready to impress China audience as well. A new poster has also been unveiled with the new release date and title written in Chinese.
