High Court of Telangana today dismissed the pleas that sought the court to stop the release of Ram Gopal Varma’s “Lakshmi’s NTR” until the poll process ends.

Dismissing the pleas, court said they would not obstruct the freedom of speech. It also quashed another plea pertaining to the release of “Lakshmi’s Veeragrandham”.

High court ordered the Telangana government and the police to see it that unlawful incidents occur during the release and maintain law and order when the movies hit the screens.

With this, all hurdles are cleared for Ram Gopal Varma’s “Lakshmi’s NTR”. The movie needs to be passed by Censor Board.

Court also said if the film has any objectionable content, government and board should take necessary action but it this should not become reason for stopping the movie’s release.
