The horrific incident of the demolition of a Hindu temple in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa area of Pakistan created quite a stir. Due to the growing pressure, Pakistan announced that it will reconstruct the demolished temple.
Islam Extremist Dr. Zakir Naik has supported the demolition of the Hindu temple and said that temple construction should not be permitted in an Islamic country,He made these sensational comments and supported the demolition of the Hindu temple in his recent video reportedly. He has openly batted for allowing the Hindu temples to be constructed in Pakistan.
As per the media reports, in his shocking video, the Islamic Extremist said, After returning to kaaba, Muhammad has broken nearly 360 idols. No statue or idol should be made in an Islamic country, if ever there are made, they should be broken.
Tracing back to the horrible incident, On December 30, last year more than a hundred people led by the Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam has demolished a Hindu temple in the Karak district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province and set it on fire.
Following the incident, India held Pakistan responsible for the demolition of a Hindu temple and urged Pakistan to launch an investigation and take action against the culprits.
