Director Hanu Raghavapudi, acclaimed for his romantic drama Sita Ramam, is set to embark on a new cinematic journey with the megastar Prabhas. The filmmaker, whose previous works, while commercially successful, failed to garner universal acclaim, is determined to replicate the magic of Sita Ramam with this upcoming project.

After extensive research on India’s independence movement, Raghavapudi has crafted a compelling script centered around a love story set against the backdrop of the era. Tentatively titled Fauji, the film is expected to commence production on August 22nd. The movie will reportedly delve into the life of Subhash Chandra Bose and his Azad Hind Fauj, incorporating historical elements into its narrative.

Mythri Movie Makers is backing this ambitious project, which is anticipated to be a visual spectacle. While the female lead is yet to be officially announced, names such as Mrunal Thakur and Rashmika Mandanna are being speculated. Music maestro Vishal Chandrasekhar, a frequent collaborator of Raghavapudi’s, is onboard to compose the film’s score. With a tentative release date of 2025, the film is generating significant buzz within the industry and among fans alike.
