National award-winning actor Dhanush’s much-anticipated 50th film, “Raayan,” is slated for a theatrical release on June 13th, 2024. The film’s first single, “Thala Vanchi Eragade,” received a positive response, and the makers are now gearing up to release the second song on May 24th.

This second single is expected to be a romantic track featuring actors Sundeep Kishan and Aparna Balamurali. A promotional poster showcasing the pair on a picturesque bicycle ride hints at the song’s theme. The poster’s visuals suggest a rural setting, with Sundeep and Aparna’s attire complementing the atmosphere. This romantic track stands in contrast to the first single, which was a high-energy mass number.

The music for “Raayan” is composed by the legendary A.R. Rahman, known for delivering chart-topping melodies for Sundeep Kishan in the past.

Dhanush plays the lead role in the film, alongside Sundeep Kishan and Kalidas Jayaram. The production is helmed by Sun Pictures and will be released in multiple languages. Asian Suresh Entertainment LLP will handle the Telugu version’s release.

The supporting cast boasts a talented ensemble, including SJ Surya, Selvaraghavan, Aparna Balamurali, and Dhushara Vijayan. Jacki serves as the production designer, while Peter Hein choreographs the action sequences. Om Prakash handles cinematography, with Prasanna GK taking care of editing.

With Dhanush donning the dual hats of director and lead actor, excitement is building among fans for “Raayan.” The upcoming second single, a stark contrast to the first, promises to showcase the film’s diverse musical tapestry.
