Sukumar’s Perfectionism Delays Pushpa 2 Post-Production
Renowned filmmaker Sukumar is known for his meticulous approach to filmmaking, often pushing the boundaries of cinematic storytelling. This dedication to perfection has once again led to a tight production schedule for his highly anticipated film, Pushpa 2.
With just 10 days remaining until the film’s release, Sukumar is still actively involved in the post-production process, overseeing editing, digital imaging, and other crucial aspects. This rigorous attention to detail ensures that every frame of the film meets the director’s exacting standards.
While Allu Arjun has been diligently promoting the film across the country, Sukumar’s focus remains on the technical aspects of the film. His absence from promotional events, including the recent Chennai event, is a testament to his unwavering commitment to delivering a cinematic masterpiece.
Despite the demanding schedule, the team behind Pushpa 2 is confident that the film will captivate audiences with its stunning visuals, gripping narrative, and powerful performances. As the release date approaches, fans eagerly await the cinematic experience that Sukumar and his team have meticulously crafted.

Prasanth Varma’s ‘Devakinandana’ Stuns Fans But Not in a Good Way!
Sometimes, even the most promising seeds fail to sprout, and Devakinandana Vasudeva seems to be one of them. Released with much fanfare yesterday, the movie had audiences intrigued thanks to the involvement of Prasanth Varma, the mind behind the blockbuster HanuMan. In addition, the rare Twitter promotions by superstar Mahesh Babu for his nephew Ashok Galla and expectations soared. However, the end product left audiences scratching their heads, wondering what went wrong.
The attempt to retell the stories of Krishna, Kamsa, and Satyabhama in a modern context felt like a mismatched puzzle. Director Arjun Jandhyala’s treatment of the narrative failed to connect, with outdated storytelling, flat humor, and dull performances taking centre stage. Ashok Galla’s body language and over-the-top fight scenes didn’t gel well with the plot, leaving fans disappointed. Despite Prasanth Varma’s impressive storytelling track record, his script seemed out of sync with contemporary tastes.
Prasanth, who proudly shared at the pre-release event that he has 33 stories in his store, might want to double-check their relevance. While HanuMan showcased his creative brilliance, Devakinandana Vasudeva feels like a misstep. The timing didn’t help either, with audiences’ attention drifting towards the upcoming Pushpa 2 frenzy. Even Mechanic Rocky and Zebra, released on the same day, struggled with average theater occupancy.
As for Devakinandana Vasudeva, it seems to be treading water at the box office. If Prasanth Varma had hoped to transport audiences into an engaging mythological spectacle, the response might feel like a rude awakening. But hey, perhaps he can chalk this up as one of those “33 stories” better left untold!
