Nagarjuna Joins Superstar Rajinikanth in ‘Coolie’

King Nagarjuna, the renowned Telugu actor, continues to expand his horizons by venturing into other language films. Following his impactful role in Ranbir Kapoor’s “Brahmastra,” he is now set to join the star-studded cast of Dhanush and Sekhar Kammula’s “Kubera.”

In a further demonstration of his versatility, Nagarjuna has recently joined the shooting of the highly anticipated “Coolie,” starring superstar Rajinikanth and directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj. The film, which is currently underway in Vizag, will feature a 40-day schedule where key sequences will be filmed.

Joining Nagarjuna in this pan-Indian project are Soubin Saahir as Dayal, Satyaraj as Rajasekhar, Shruti Haasan as Preethi, and Kannada superstar Upendra as Kaleesha. Nagarjuna is reportedly taking on a negative role, playing the character of Simon.

“Coolie,” produced by Sun Pictures, is not part of the Lokesh Cinematic Universe. The film’s music is composed by Anirudh Ravichander, and Girish is the director of photography. Philomin Raj is the editor, and the film is scheduled for release in 2025.

With Rajinikanth’s 171st film, “Coolie” is generating immense buzz due to its star-studded cast and the acclaimed directorial vision of Lokesh Kanagaraj. Nagarjuna’s participation further enhances the film’s appeal, promising a cinematic experience that will captivate audiences across India.
