On Children’s Day, Kajol aims to feel free as a child
Actress Kajol took to social media to wish her kids, son Yug and daughter Nysa on Children’s Day.
On Thursday, the actress posted adorable photos with her kids, along with a note in which she shared her love for children. Kajol describes them as beings who haven’t yet lost their honesty or their zest for life.
According to her, children remind us of the freedom we all strive to regain as we grow older. The ‘Dilwale’ star added that, in many ways, we are all aiming to be as free as children, unaffected by the pressures and complexities of life.
Kajol wrote in the caption, “I love kids because they haven’t lost their honesty and their love of life to life as yet. And that’s what we are all aiming for after a point… to be that free… aren’t we? In the first image, the actress is seen striking a happy pose with her son Yug. Kajol looks lovely in a pink saree, while Yug sports a white kurta-pajama. The next images show the ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’ actress flaunting her radiant smile as she poses next to her daughter Nysa.
Kajol also posted a video of herself surrounded by kids, giving them her autographs.
Previously, she had shared a post about her film “Karan Arjun”, which is set to be re-released in theatres on November 22, 2024. She captioned the post, “Yeh toh bas trailer hai, dekhiye Karan Arjun ke pyaar ka bandhan duniya bhar ke cinema gharon mein phir ek baar 22 November se!”
On the work front, Kajol recently appeared in the film “Do Patti”, where she played the role of a police officer. The thriller also starred Kriti Sanon and Shaheer Sheikh.
“Do Patti” also marked Kriti’s debut as a producer and Shaheer’s Bollywood debut.

Saanand Verma on his role in Vijay 69: I relived my journalism days
Actor Saanand Verma recently opened up about his latest project “Vijay 69.” Reflecting on his character in the film, Verma shared how the role allowed him to relive his journalism days.
In a statement, he shared, “I really wanted to be part of this project because the character is a journalist, and I’ve actually been a journalist in my earlier days. I started in print journalism before moving into electronic media, but the role was more entertainment-focused than real journalism. I always wanted to be a journalist like Arnab Goswami, though I didn’t quite end up like him. So, playing a journalist in this film felt exciting and close to my heart.”
Saanand added, “The most challenging aspect of playing this role was reliving my journalism days. It’s not an easy profession. You have to be constantly alert and work under pressure, and this role demanded that I tap into that mindset.”The further mentioned that he believes that “Vijay 69″’s core message is about perseverance.
“Vijay 69 teaches us that nothing is impossible. If you’re passionate, determined, and work hard, you can achieve anything. Age is just a number. You are as youthful as you feel in your mind,” Verma added.Verma is widely known for his performances in films like “Chhichhore” and “Apaharan”, as well as his iconic portrayal of Anokhelal Saxena in the TV show “Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain”. In his latest project, “Vijay 69”, Saanand Verma takes on the role of journalist.
Speaking about working with Anupam Kher and Chunky Pandey, the actor stated it was a dream come true opportunity for him to work with two of the finest actors in the industry.In the film, Kher plays the role of a 69-year-old old angry man, Vijay Matthew, who dares to dream big.
“Vijay 69” premiered on Netflix on November 8.
