Is Rajnikanth & Lokesh’s ‘Coolie’ Shelved?

After a long wait, the title glimpse of superstar Rajnikanth’s upcoming film with crazy director Lokesh Kanagaraj came out a few months back. The movie is named ‘Coolie’ and it is Rajni’s 171st movie. While Rajni’s look, trademark dialogues and ever-charming laugh have pleased the fans, the regular audience claim that it is not as good as everyone expected it to be. Despite the disappointment, they are hopeful that Lokesh and Rajnikanth’s combo will deliver on the big screen.

It is one of the most-awaited projects down South and people are hyped up about Lokesh directing Rajni for the first after movies like ‘Khaidi’, ‘Vikram’ and ‘Leo’. But the star young director has dropped ‘Coolie’ from his info on his social media handle which is causing a lot of chaos now. People are now assuming that Rajni and Lokesh might have shelved this project.

The shooting was supposed to kickstart in June but it got pushed to July. While some people are claiming that it shouldn’t be taken seriously, there are a lot of trolls and memes arriving on this. We need to wait and see if taking out ‘Coolie’ from Lokesh’s handle means anything serious or not.

Lokesh recently talked about making ‘Leo 2’ and let us hope all of these are mere rumours and nothing more.
