Nayanthara-Netflix: Is this 10 Secs Worth Rs 10 Crore

As is known, a huge controversy has engulfed between Nayanthara and Dhanush as they battle out the issue related to Nayanthara-Netflix documentary. It started off when Dhanush denied permission to Netflix and Nayanthara to use footage from his production film Naanum Rowdy Dhaan for a documentary that is being filmed on the latter.

Cut to now, an interesting video clip pertaining to the story has started to trend big time on social media. In this clipping, we see Nayanthara and Vignesh Shivan having a conversation on the sets of Naanum Rowy Thaan which happened to be the time when they fell in love with each other and eventually got married.

Apparently, Dhanush demanded a whopping Rs 10 crore for permission and copyright adjustment to use this 10-seconds clip. This is what agitated Nayanthara in the first place and led to her writing an open letter to the latter where she come down heavily on him.

While this controversy heats up, there is a huge commotion that is supporting Dhanush as well. There is a widespread opinion that it is well within Dhanush’s right to hold back the rights of his production film.

The issue is that Nayanthara is said to be making a fair deal of money from the documentary and that doesn’t necessitate Dhanush to give away the rights of his film for free of cost.
