Story:
Subrahmanyam (Allari Naresh) is a software engineer who lives with his uncle (Ahuti Prasad). He spends most of his time with his friend Madhu (Anitha). Naresh’s boss Busy Balraj (Brahmanandam) throws a party for getting engaged at 40. Naresh drinks heavily on the night and finds himself on the bed next day with a girl Sanjana ( Ritu Barmecha). Subrahmanyam and Sanjana both do not remember what happens in the previous night. Sanjana’s brothers (Srihari, Subbaraju, Samrat), who are factionists warns Naresh and makes an agreement to get married to Sanjana as a consequences. When Naresh forcibly agrees for the marriage, he comes to know the fact that Sihari and his family wantedly trapped Naresh, as they feel Naresh is the right match for their sister. Naresh likes Madhu and wants to marry her to get rid of Srihari and heir family. What does Naresh do? How does Srihari and co.. convince Naresh, forms the rest of the story.
Performances:
Allari Naresh, as usual rocked with his fantastic comic timing and peculiar expressions. He did his best in making one and all choke with laughter. Debutant Ritu Barmecha is good and has done full justice to the role. Anitha who has made her comeback with the film, improved her acting skills. She looked stunning in the bikini.
Brahamandam needs a special mention. He has entertained the audience in every frame with his crazy dialogues and funny expressions. Though, it is Srihari’s regular role, he delivers a good job. Subbaraju is convincing, Nagineedu is outstanding, Vennela Kishore is perfect and others did their bit as required.
Technical Aspects:
Veerabhadra has taken a regular story but tried to play safe by incorporating numerous comedy scenes. He could have concentrated on the story as well. Cinematography by Lokanath is fine and a couple of songs were good to be watched. Being a comic genre film, the film-makers seem to have concentrated much on dialogues which is praise-worthy. The background score is just okay. Screenplay is dull in the second half with some dragging scenes and the editing could have been much better.
Analysis:
Aha Naa Pellanta is a regular story and remembers you of Bollywood film Welcome in most parts. The first half of the film is racy but the second half is lengthy with dragged climax. However, the movie provides enough entertainment with the right blend of comedy. Naresh’s characterization is quite good and the scenes between Brahnmanandam and Srihari are the highlights of the movie.
